Pletenica sa šunkom / Ham Braid

Pletenica sa šunkom

Potrebno:

  • 300ml tople vode
  • 1 kašičica šećera
  • oko 20-tak grama svežeg kvasca
  • 1 kašičica soli
  • 50ml ulja
  • oko 500gr brašna
  • 200gr praške šunke
  • 1 jaje za premazivanje
Priprema:
U malo tople vode dodati šećer, razmutiti kvasac i ostaviti da zapeni.
U vangli pomešati ostatak vode, so, ulje, narasli kvasac i sa brašnom zamesiti testo. Pokriti ga i ostaviti na toplom da naraste.
Naraslo testo premesiti, podeliti na tri dela, pa svaki deo razvući u pravougaonik. Po njemu rasporediti šunku i uviti u rolat. Od sva tri dela isplesti pletenicu. Prebaciti je na pleh obložen papirom za pečenje.Ostaviti je da odmori jedno 30'.
Premazati je umućenim jajetom i peći na 200C da lepo porumeni.

Ham Braid

Ingredients:
  • 300ml warm water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • about 20gr fresh yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 50ml oil
  • about 500gr flour
  • 200gr ham
  • 1 egg for brushing
Directions:
In some water dissolve the sugar and yeast and let stand until foamy.
In a kneading bowl, mix the rest of the water, salt, oil, yeast mixture and with a flour knead the dough. Cover and let stand until doubled in volume.
Divide the dough in three. Roll each part into a rectangle, arrange the ham on it and roll. Form a braid from all three parts. Transfer to a pan lined with parchment paper and let rest for 30'.
Brush the braid with a whisked egg and bake at 200C until nicely golden brown.
