Jafa kolač / Jaffa Cake

Jedan brzinski kolačić za koji vam nije potreban ni mikser.

Potrebno:

  • 150gr omekšalog maslaca
  • 200gr brašna
  • 2 kašičice praška za pecivo
  • 200gr žutog šećera
  • 3 jaja
  • 6 kašika mleka
  • rendana kora jedne pomorandže
za sirup:
  • 10 kašika soka od pomorandže (sveže ceđenog)
  • 50gr žutog šećera
i još:
  • 50gr čokolade (mlečne ili crne)
Priprema:
Zagrejati rernu na 180C. Duguljasti pleh za hleb obložiti papirom za pečenje.
U vanglu ubaciti sve sastojke sa prve liste i žicom umutiti da bude bez grudvica. Sipati u pleh i peći oko 40-50' (proveriti čačkalicom).
Za to vreme pripremiti sirup. Prokuvati sok i šećer nekoliko minuta da se šećer istopi. Pečen kolač izvaditi iz pleha i četkicom ga premazati sirupom.
Kad se ohladi prošarati ga istopljenom čokoladom.

Jaffa Cake

Ingredients:
  • 150gr softened butter
  • 200gr flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 200gr yellow sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • grated zest from one orange
for the syrup:
  • 10 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 50gr yellow sugar
and:
  • 50gr chocolate (milk or dark)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
Put all the ingredients from the first list in a bowl and whisk until there are no more lumps. Pour the batter in the pan and bake for 40-50' (toothpick test).
Meanwhile, make the syrup. Boil the sugar and juice for a couple of minutes until the sugar dissolves.
Take the baked cake from the pan and brush with the syrup.
When it's cooled drizzle with melted chocolate.
