Čorba od šargarepe / Carrot Soup

Već i vrapci znaju da su u mojoj kući čorbe i supe omiljene. Zato stalno isprobavamo nove...

Čorba od šargarepe

Potrebno:

  • 1 litar supe (može i od kocke)
  • 500gr šargarepe
  • 1 crni luk
  • 1 čen belog luka
  • 1 kašičica suvog bosiljka
  • oko 80gr maslaca
  • 6 kašika brašna
  • 750ml mleka
  • 1/2 kašičice kurkume
  • so, biber
Priprema:
U šerpu staviti supu,seckanu šargarepu, seckan crni i beli luk i kuvati oko 15-tak minuta da povrće omekša. Usitniti ga pomoću štapnog miksera ili u blenderu.
U posebnoj šerpi istopiti maslac, dodati brašno i propžiti. Naliti mleko i kuvati da se zgusne. Dodati u supu i sve kuvati još par minuta da se sve pomeša i zagreje. Skloniti sa vatre i dodati bosiljak, kurkumu, so i biber po ukusu.

Carrot Soup

Ingredients:
  • 1 liter soup 
  • 500gr carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 80gr butter
  • 750ml milk
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • salt, pepper
Direction:
In a pan add the chopped carrot, chopped onion and garlic. Pour in a soup and cook for about 15 minutes until the vegetables are softened. Puree the soup in a blender or with a hand-held mixer.
In a separate pan, melt the butter, add the flour and cook for a couple of minutes. Pour in the milk and cook until it thickens. Add this to the vegetables and heat everything for a couple of minutes. Remove from the heat, add the basil, turmeric, salt and pepper by taste.
